Carrotwood is a fast-growing evergreen tree that reaches heights of about 35 feet.The Carrotwood tree was deliberately introduced into Florida in the 1950s as a desirable, easy-to-propagate, disease- and pest-resistant landscape plant adaptable to coastal conditions. Carrotwood has a cream to light brown color, with hints of yellow and orange. It cuts and machines well. It is also a very stable wood. Carrotwood can be used for turned objects, furniture, and carving.
