For proper installation of your slab please refer to the tips below.

Things to Avoid

Below is a list of common mistakes when working with wood slabs.

DO NOT store the slab flat on ANY surface.
DO NOT store the slab for more than 30 days without first consulting a WoodSlabs.com sales rep.
DO NOT cover the slab with a tarp or plastic sheet.
DO NOT leave your slab in the shipping wrap.

Proper Installation

To give your slab project the best chance at success, here’s a list of things to remember.

DO elevate slab off the resting surface using blocks of wood (do not store over concrete).
DO store your slab inside in the same humidity & temperature in which the slab will be installed.
DO ensure every face of the slab receives adequate air flow.
DO Unwrap your slab as soon as possible.

For maximum stability: Unfinished slabs should be finished on all sides within 30 days of delivery.
