Pecan Wood Slabs
Pecans aren’t just known for their pie anymore! Although those wonderful little nuts make a heavenly dessert, the wood they come from is just as divine. Sure, it appeases the eye instead of the tastebuds, but it will leave you smiling, just like a pie on Turkey Day.
Pecan has a wide, cream-colored sapwood with light brown to pinkish hues in the heartwood. We evicted all the existing tenants when we kiln dried the wood so you can enjoy their spalting and worm holes without having unwelcome guests at the table. It’s one of the hardest woods indigenous to the States, so you can rest assured that the table will last as long as the memories made around it. Because it drills and glues well, your imagination is the only limit.
